Office
Brandi Aycock
Receptionist
Brandi joined Doug Henry Ford Tarboro in February 2026 and is the first point of contact for guests at 1901 N. Main St. Whether you're calling about a vehicle or coming in for service, her job is to get you to the right person quickly rather than routing you through three transfers. A true Eastern North Carolina local, Brandi is a devoted mother to her daughter, Wrenlee, and her household is also home to five dogs, which keeps life busy. When she isn't at the dealership she enjoys fishing, crafts, shopping, and taking her daughter to the local parks. Her favorite destination is Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. She values the safety and reliability of the modern SUV lineup, but her heart belongs to the track: her favorite vehicle of all time is the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500.

Mary Edmondson
Assistant Office Manager
Mary joined Doug Henry Ford in 2010 and handles the administrative work behind a purchase at 1901 N. Main St. Documentation, title work, and the details that determine whether delivery day is thirty minutes or an afternoon all pass through her. Mary is a devoted member of the local community with a real heart for service. Outside the office, her favorite thing is animal rescue, which says most of what you need to know about her. A fan of practical capability and the North Carolina outdoor lifestyle, Mary's favorite vehicle is the Ford Ranger — versatile, durable, and no more complicated than it needs to be, which is a fair description of how she works.

Sales Department
Lee Grimsley
Team Leader
Lee joined Doug Henry Ford in 2013 and leads at 1901 N. Main St. He works in service operations as well as sales, mentors the team, and works with the office on the general running of operations. That range means he's there for you at the beginning of the sale and through the ownership experience — not just until the keys change hands. For Lee, family always comes first. He credits his loving and supportive family as the foundation for his success and enjoys spending every moment he can with his wife and kids. He's usually at one of his two boys' ball games, and when he isn't, he's on the golf course. His appreciation for power and capability shows in his favorite vehicle: the Ford F-250 Super Duty.

John Worthington
Team Leader
John started with Doug Henry in 1997, beginning his career in Farmville before moving to the Tarboro operation in 2000. He's worked nearly every job in a dealership on the way to Team Leader, which is why he tends to be the person others go to when a question doesn't have an obvious owner. John's life is centered on his wife, Heather, and their three children — daughters Charlie Jo and Adeline Mae and son Rhett Thomas — plus their Pomeranian, Addie Lee. A lifelong learner with a curious mind, he loves traveling, taking up new subjects, and live music. His favorite destination is Florence, Italy. His picks are the Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 and the Ford F-250 Tremor.

Tyrone Williams
Team Leader
Tyrone was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and joined Doug Henry Ford in August 2017. He leads at 1901 N. Main St. and handles much of what sits behind the sales floor — how vehicles are merchandised online, the store's marketing, online inquiries, and training the team. Growing up where Ford was built gave him a head start on the lineup and its history. Tyrone is the proud parent of two sons and a daughter. His personal philosophy of loyalty and perseverance — honed as a lifelong Detroit Lions fan — shows up in everything he does. When he isn't at the dealership you can find him staying active through exercise, reading, or spending time with his family. He loves the tropical scenery of the Bahamas, and he returns to Detroit often to stay connected to where it all started.

Kendrick Sexton
Product Specialist
Kendrick joined the Doug Henry Ford team in August 2021 at 1901 N. Main St. He works on the long game rather than the single transaction — the guests he sold to in 2021 are the ones calling him now — and the non-commissioned model is what makes that possible. Family is the heartbeat of Kendrick's life. He's happily married and the proud father of six children: Destiny, Lacy, Jayden, Amiyah, Heaven, and Kendrick. When he isn't at the dealership he's spending time with family, cooking, or hosting a game of spades, and he's a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan. He has an appreciation for high-end engineering, naming the 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD and the Maserati Ghibli S Q4 as his favorites. His dream getaway is the Fari Islands in the Maldives.

Whitney Green
Product Specialist
Whitney joined the Doug Henry Ford team in February 2025 at 1901 N. Main St. She's a straightforward guide through the Ford lineup, from a fuel-efficient commuter to the truck range, and she'd rather find out what actually fits your week than talk you into the model with the better story. A resident of the community with a passion for the quiet joys of home, Whitney is the proud mom to two beloved fur babies. When she isn't at the dealership you can find her lost in a good book or tending her garden. She loves the North Carolina coast, with Morehead City and Atlantic Beach as her favorite destinations. Her heart belongs to an American icon: the Ford Mustang GT.

Michael Wilkerson
Product Specialist
Michael joined the Doug Henry Ford team in July 2025 at 1901 N. Main St. He treats guests the way he'd want his own family treated, which mostly means answering the question that was asked and not the one that would be more convenient to answer. A man of deep faith and family values, Michael puts his community and loved ones first, and is especially dedicated to his mother, including getting her to her appointments. When he's recharging he's bowling, boxing, or cooking. He's a loyal Washington Commanders fan and finds his rhythm in the early-'80s sound of Rare Essence. He has an appreciation for the luxury of Lexus, but his favorite truck is the Ford F-150. For a vacation, he heads for Las Vegas.

Tyler Ward
Product Specialist
Tyler joined the Doug Henry Ford team in October 2025 at 1901 N. Main St. Born and raised in Tarboro, he's currently pursuing a degree in psychology at East Carolina University — a background in how people actually communicate, which turns out to be most of this job. Tyler is a true North Carolinian who values family and community. Outside of work and his studies at ECU, he's a regular at local concerts, rodeos, and soccer games, whether he's playing on the field or cheering from the stands. When he's looking for adventure, his favorite destination is the vibrant culture of Oaxaca, Mexico. As a truck enthusiast with a taste for premium comfort, his favorite is the Ford F-150 Lariat.

Billy Whitley
Product Specialist
Billy joined Doug Henry Chevrolet Tarboro in 2011 and has helped two generations of local families through a purchase. As a non-commissioned Product Specialist, his pay doesn't change based on what you buy or what you pay for it — which frees him to tell you honestly whether a heavy-duty work truck or a family SUV is the right call. Billy is married to his wife Myra, is the proud father of his daughter Caitlin Webb, and a doting grandfather. He's an enthusiast of North Carolina's outdoor lifestyle, often horseback riding or heading west to the mountains. He bleeds Carolina Blue for UNC and never misses a Dallas Cowboys game. His favorite vehicle is the Chevrolet Silverado.

Blake Lassiter
Product Specialist
Blake joined Doug Henry in 2020 and brings more than twenty years in the automotive industry with him. He's watched the business change considerably over that time, and he works here because he'd rather explain a vehicle's technology and financing plainly than sell around them. He works with guests at both Tarboro locations. Blake credits much of his success to his wife, Sandy, and together they're the proud parents of two children, Nate and Terra. A man of depth and curiosity, his hobbies include reading and contemplating the mysteries of the universe — an analytical streak he puts to work solving problems for customers. His ideal getaway is camping in the North Carolina mountains. He handles the newest models daily, but his all-time favorite is the DMC DeLorean.

Tanner Wilson
Product Specialist
Tanner joined Doug Henry in March 2025. The son of a farmer and a nurse, he came up around work where the answer either holds or it doesn't, and he approaches the job the same way: give people the facts and let them decide. As a non-commissioned Product Specialist, there's no version of the conversation where pushing harder pays him more. Originally from Arkansas, Tanner is the only one of his many siblings to venture out to North Carolina, and he's made a home here with his partner and their dog, Arya. He's usually either hiking with Arya or teaching himself computer programming — an interest that translates directly to helping guests navigate the technology in a modern vehicle. He has a soft spot for the 2013 Ford Fusion, and when he heads home to visit, it's to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Samantha Brookins
Sales Support Specialist
Samantha joined Doug Henry Chevrolet Tarboro in July 2025 and holds together the parts of a purchase that happen around the sale itself — coordinating deliveries, managing follow-up with the sales team, and getting paperwork completed so delivery day is short. She also works on marketing, merchandising, and the store's social media, which means she's often the first version of Doug Henry a guest encounters. Samantha is happily married to her husband, Cole, and together they manage a busy household of fur babies: their German Shepherd/Black Lab puppy, Maggie, and two cats, Thor and Loki. When she isn't working she's often tackling a home renovation project, playing with her pets, or gaming with her husband. Her ideal getaways are Ocean City, Maryland, or camping on the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. She has a personal appreciation for the 2025 Toyota RAV4.

Service Department
Frank Hale
Shuttle Driver
The Doug Henry Ford Tarboro family honors the memory and legacy of Mr. Frank Hale. For years, Mr. Frank was a cornerstone of our dealership family at 1901 N. Main St., serving our community as a Shuttle Driver. To the guests he drove and the colleagues he worked alongside, Mr. Frank was a living example of the "Fast. Fair. Friendly." spirit, defined by an unwavering kindness and a deep compassion for every person he met. Mr. Frank didn't just provide a service; he provided a connection. He took immense pride in his work, using every trip as an opportunity to share a kind word or a helping hand. His presence was a reminder that the automotive business is, at its heart, about people. While he is deeply missed by our team and our neighbors, his influence remains a part of the culture he helped build here. Above all, Mr. Frank was a man who loved his family and his community. His legacy of grace and dedication continues to inspire us daily. Doug Henry Ford will be forever grateful for the years Mr. Frank spent with us, and we are honored to have called him a teammate and a friend. Rest in peace, Wilson Frank Hale. Your seat at our table will always be remembered.
Nora King
Service Writer
Nora joined Doug Henry Ford in December 2023 and works between guests and the technicians at 1901 N. Main St. Her job is to tell you what your vehicle needs, what it doesn't, and what it will cost before the work starts — and to keep you updated while it's in the shop rather than after. Nora is a true outdoorswoman. She is a proud mother to her two children, Novalee and James-Dean. When she isn't at the dealership you can find her deer hunting, fishing, or playing with her kids and her dog. She's an expert on Ford service, but she has a personal appreciation for full-size capability: her favorite vehicle is the Chevrolet Tahoe. For a getaway she likes the contrast between a tropical escape to Jamaica and the quiet of the mountains.

Carrie Collie
Service Writer
Carrie joined the Doug Henry Ford service team in February 2025 as a liaison between guests and the factory-trained technicians at 1901 N. Main St. Whether you're in for scheduled maintenance or something unexpected, she'll explain what's happening in plain terms and tell you when to expect your vehicle back. Carrie is a devoted mother to her two sons, Carson and Liam. Her interests reflect a sharp eye for detail and a love of home life — interior decorating, reading, and time with her family. That same meticulous streak is what makes her a reliable resource at the service desk. She handles the latest Ford trucks and SUVs daily, but she has a personal appreciation for the rugged versatility of the Toyota 4Runner. When it's time to recharge, she prefers the fresh air of the mountains.

Cindy Smith
Service Assistant
Cindy joined the Doug Henry Ford service team in August 2024 at 1901 N. Main St. She supports the service writers and steps in behind the desk when they're covered up, along with a range of other work that keeps the department moving. If your writer is with another guest, Cindy is often the one who can still get you an answer. Cindy is devoted to her close-knit family, which includes her mother, her daughter, and her two beloved fur-grand dogs. She values time spent making memories with family and friends, whether that's at home or somewhere new. Her heart is at North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she enjoys the sun and the coast. Her automotive philosophy may be the most relatable one at the dealership: she appreciates the new Ford lineup, but her absolute favorite vehicle is her paid-for 2019 Ford Escape.

Parts Department
Ray Smith
Parts Manager
Ray has served guests at this Tarboro location since 2006. As Parts Manager he knows the Ford catalog well enough to get the right component on the first order, whether it's for a technician in the shop, a rare piece for a restoration, or a Motorcraft item someone needs today rather than next week. Ray appreciates the simple, hardworking values of North Carolina life. Outside the dealership he's an avid gardener and finds his peace in his barn, working on personal projects — the same hands-on streak that makes him effective at the parts counter. When it's time to relax, he heads for the North Carolina beach. His automotive passion is rooted in American performance: as a true Ford enthusiast, his favorite vehicle is the Mustang.

Darrell Foster
Parts Associate
Darrell joined Doug Henry Ford in May 2024 and works the parts counter at 1901 N. Main St., helping guests with everything from OEM Ford replacement parts to custom accessories. His background in artwork and custom decals gives him an unusual grasp of the customization side, so he's a good person to talk to when the project isn't strictly a repair. Darrell's life outside the dealership is just as fast-paced. On weekends you can almost always find him at the racetrack, where he specializes in action photography, capturing high-speed moments on the asphalt. He's also a talented artist who creates custom decals and artwork, and a true animal lover who considers his cats a vital part of the family. His heart belongs to American muscle cars and sportscars. For a getaway he enjoys the variety of North Carolina — the beach, the mountains, and everywhere between.

Collision Center
David Tonathy
Collision Manager
David has led collision and body repair at Doug Henry since 2021. As Collision Manager he's the bridge between a stressful accident and getting your vehicle back, working with insurance providers and factory-trained technicians to keep the process moving and to make sure you know where it stands. The Doug Henry Collision Center is located at 1901 N. Main St. David comes from a close-knit family of five and is the proud father of two grown children. When he isn't managing the precision work at the collision center, he embraces the open road, whether he's riding his motorcycle or heading to the coast to fish. A true aficionado of classic American power, his favorite vehicle of all time is the 1969 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet. For a getaway, David heads straight for the sun and surf of Daytona Beach.

Tonya Lewis
Collision Center Receptionist
Tonya has been a welcoming presence at the Doug Henry Collision Center since March 2023. Most people arrive at a body shop after a bad day, and her job is to make the next part of it calm and clear — coordinating with the Collision Manager and insurance partners so you're not the one chasing information. Tonya's life is rooted in faith and family. She's been happily married to her husband, Stephen, for more than 35 years. They're the proud parents of two children, Christopher and Angel, and have been blessed with a daughter-in-law, Brook, and a son-in-law, Justin. When she isn't at the collision center, Tonya enjoys time at her church, intricate cross-stitch projects, or a word search. A fan of reliable, versatile engineering, her favorite vehicle is the Toyota RAV4, and her ideal vacation is always the beach.

Finance
Position Intentionally Vacant
Traditional Finance Manager
Yes, This Position Is Intentionally Vacant. At many dealerships, agreeing to purchase a vehicle is followed by another sales presentation—this time involving financing, interest rates and optional protection products. We removed that part of the process. At Doug Henry Tarboro, your Non-Commissioned Product Specialist remains your Single Point of Contact throughout the entire purchase. We can still help arrange financing through our lending partners, explain available rates and terms, and offer optional protection products that may genuinely benefit you. The difference is that we do not hand you over to a traditional Finance Manager whose job is to increase the amount you spend. Accept what fits your needs. Decline what does not. Ask questions or bring financing from your own bank or credit union. No awkward handoff. No negotiation. No round of pressure. Our Traditional Finance Manager currently has the easiest schedule in the dealership: Permanently off.
